Who This Is For

This workshop is for anyone preparing their body and home for pregnancy — whether you're just beginning to think about conception, actively trying, or supporting a partner through the journey. Couples are warmly encouraged to attend together.

What We’ll Explore

Over two hands-on sessions, you'll learn how food connects to hormones, energy, and reproductive wellbeing — with practical tools you can use right away. Together we'll cover:

  • How nutrition supports hormone balance, through a whole-foods and a blood-sugar and cortisol lens

  • The gut–health connection and an introduction to the GAPS approach

  • Everyday tools for balancing blood sugar and supporting your body through stress

  • Live demonstrations of nourishing staples — soups, fermented foods, and kefir-making

  • Interactive meal planning, plus recipes and resources to take home

You'll leave with a personalized starting point, take-home worksheets, and recipes — no overhaul required, just small, sustainable shifts.

Your facilitator

This workshop is led by Jody Konken, Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.) and Certified GAPS Practitioner. Jody's approach is rooted in supportive education rather than restriction, helping families feel confident and connected around food. Read Jody’s full bio.
